On 4–5 August 2025, Nayana Pradeep led a two-day environmental workshop for the environment pilot commissioners and divisional commissioners of Matale, held at the Centre for Climate Change in Rilagala. The programme paired indoor sessions on environment and climate with hands-on field study in the surrounding landscape.
