“රැකෙමු, රකිමු!” — Lecture Series for Visakha Vidyalaya

An educational and spiritual lecture series conducted for Visakha Vidyalaya under the title “රැකෙමු, රකිමු!” — roughly, “Let us be protected, let us protect.” The series ran across five evenings in July 2021 — the 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th and 15th — from 8.00 to 9.30 p.m. each night, drawing the link between caring for the natural world and caring for one’s own mind.

The sessions were led by D.M. Nayana Pradeep — B.Sc. in Agriculture and postgraduate qualifications, senior environmental scientist, international researcher, counselling psychologist at the University of Peradeniya, and a member of the subject management committee for Agriculture and Biosystems Technology.
